Healthy skin requires the right amount of cleansing and nourishment not just externally, but internally through diet and exercise. So to have that scintillating and radiant skin, you must follow a skincare regimen.

Here are some skin care tips to keep your skin happy and healthy.

1. Nourishment: Healthy skin requires proper nourishment and cleansing. Keep a track of your diet and follow a basic skincare regimen. Moisturize your skin on daily basis even at night. Protect it from pollution and sun rays and ensure that you use a good sunscreen before stepping outside. Apply a night cream to keep it hydrated throughout the night. If you have normal skin, you should clean your skin with a gel twice a day. For a hydrated look apply rose water after cleansing. Those who have dry skin should clean their skin and massage it with a good moisturizer. Incorporating a serum also work wonders for dry skin.

2. Scrub the dirt away: Scrubbing is an essential part that shouldn’t be skipped at any cost. Dirt and dust often make your skin dull and lifeless. To get rid of the accumulated dirt, make a routine to scrub your face at least twice a week. Wash your face with a mild face wash and then apply a gentle scrub to clean the pores. You can also try a homemade scrub by mixing ground almond with curd and a pinch of turmeric. If you have oily skin you can mix ground coffee with sugar and some milk and gently rub it on your face before washing. Coffee acts as a natural detain and nourishes dull skin.

3. Lock the glow: You are not done yet. Apply a face mask as it leaves your skin feeling clean and glowing. You can buy a good quality face mask as per your skin type or you can also make one at home. Mix two spoons of aloe vera and half a spoon of honey. Apply on face every day to get a glowing skin. You can also mix honey with egg whites and apply it on the face. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes and clean it off with cod water. A face pack made of milk powder, honey, and rose water also gives you a fresh and gentle skin.

4. Lots of water: We all are well aware of the benefits of having plenty of water. So if you want to get that natural go, make a habit of having at least 10 glasses of water every day. Lukewarm water along with a teaspoon of honey is also beneficial for internal cleansing.
