With the festival season coming nearer, everyone is busy making delicacies to please their sweet tooth. If yes, then we must be extra cautious when it comes to sweet intake. So, make this Diwali a bit healthy with our sugar-free dessert options that you can try at home for celebrations.

1. Custard Apple Kheer: One of the most comforting dessert with deliciously smooth texture and creamy taste.
Ingredients :
● 5 large custard apples
● 100 gms jaggery
● 1 cup broken green gram
● 1 cup coconut milk
● 1 tbsp almond flakes
● 1 tbsp pistachio flakes
● 3-4 cups water

Method :
1. Wash and peel custard apple, separating the seeds and pulp.
2. Discard the seeds and store the pulp in refrigerator.
3. Pressure cook roasted green gram with 3 cups of water.
4. In a non stick pan place the jaggery and cardamom powder and cook till jaggery melts.
5. Add cooked green gram and custard apple pulp to the jaggery mixture. Mix well.
6. Add coconut milk and bring it to boil.
7. Garnish it with nuts and serve chilled.

2. Sugar free Date Rolls: Naturally sweet and full of nutrients, date rolls are something you can’t resist. With lots of nuts and poppy seeds, Date rolls are a perfect for your Diwali party.
Ingredients :
● ½ tsp ghee
● ¾ cup deseeded dates finely chopped
● 1 tbsp chopped almonds
● 1 tbsp chopped pistachios
● 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
● 2 tbsp poppy seeds

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the dates, cook on slow flame for 5-7 minutes stirring continuously till they turn into a soft lump.
2. Remove from heat. Add almonds, pistachios and walnuts and mix well.
3. Divide into equal portions and shape each portion into a roll.
4. Coat each roll with poppy seeds and refrigerate to set.
5. Serve.

3. Grilled Almond Barfi : A guilt-free way to enjoy the festive treats. This is a simple and tasty Sugarfree desserts food recipe made up with only 3 ingredients loaded with the goodness of almonds and richness of khoya.
Ingredients :
● 500 gms khoya
● 40 gms sweetener
● 1 cup alomond

Method :
1. Grate khoya and keep aside.
2. Heat pan,add khoya, add sweetener and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
3. Remove from fire and mix in roasted and crushed almonds. Transfer it to individual serving bowl.
4. Spread some sweetener on the top. Place the dish in a hot oven at 200 C and allow the sweetener to caramalize for 3-4 minutes.
5. Remove and serve hot.
