At first, you must try to do counselling at your home because a child always feels safe when he is with his parents. Make him understand that he can share everything with you and tell you why he is angry. Once he tells you the reason, try to talk him out of it and make him understand that throwing temper tantrums won’t do any good. Make him practise exercises related to patience and calmness. If, however, the situation is worsening or getting out of control, professional counselling is very much needed.

Dealing with temper tantrums can be challenging for any parent. It’s important to remember that temper tantrums are a normal part of a child’s development and are often a way for them to express their frustrations or emotions. While counseling can be beneficial in certain situations, many tantrums can be managed effectively at home.
Here are some strategies you can try:
      • Stay calm and composed
      • Use positive language
      • Set clear expectations
      • Provide a safe space
      • Offer distractions or alternatives
      • Encourage problem-solving skills
      • Reinforce positive behavior
