Summers always call for something hydrating and refreshing.  Being an all time foodie I love having loads and loads of fruits in this season. Mangoes, melons, cucumbers and lemons fill our taste buds with colors and flavors.  Be it a picnic outing with family or hosting a kitty party at home, we women often get short of recipes at times. But my dear ladies, in this blog, I am going to give you a key to unlock all the hearts. Serving a bowl of colorful and refreshing salad in scorching summer makes you the show stopper. This season, diversify your menu with some easy recipes.

Easy and refreshing salad recipes:

Cucumber, Tomato and Avocado Salad:

Love those colors!! A fresh and easy to make salad recipe with a perfect blend of flavors.

What we need:
1 cucumber
4 tomatoes
3 ripe avocados
½ onions
¼ cup fresh coriander
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.

A sneak peak to the recipe:
1. Slice cucumber, tomatoes, avocados and onions.
2. Chop coriander finely.
3. In a bowl mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
4. Add the sliced veggies and coriander and toss it nicely.
5. Serve and enjoy.

Three Bean Salad:

This is personally my favorite as it acts as a complete one pot meal. Lots of proteins, and iron keeps you full for long.

What we need:
½ onions
1 cucumber
½ cup coriander
1 tomato
½ cup chickpeas, boiled
½ cup kidney beans, boiled
½ cup black eyed beans, boiled
1 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
¼ cup olive oil

Easy Salad Recipe For refreshing summer

A quick view to recipe
1. Chop onions, tomatoes and cucumber in a large bowl
2. Finely chop coriander and add it to a bowl.
3. Add chickpeas, kidney beans and black eyed beans to the bowl.
4. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and whisk together.
5. Pour the olive oil dressing over the salad and toss it well
6. Enjoy!!

Colors in a Bowl Salad:

A firangi  twist to traditional fruit salad. A refreshing, hydrating and perfect meal for summer.

What we need:
1 mango
½ watermelon
½ muskmelon
2 kiwis
2 oranges, peeled
12 strawberries
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
A pinch of chaat masala

Easy Salad Recipe For refreshing summer

A quick recipe
1. Chop mamgoes, melons, kiwi and strawberries into cubes.
2. Mix together lime juice, maple syrup and chaat masala.
3. Add the chopped fruits into the dressing.
4. Chill, serve and enjoy.
