Diwali is around the corner and we all are looking forward to have a banging diwali this year. It’s time to shop and enjoy. Not just adults, but kids also wait for this festival desperately. Some kids can’t wait to get their hands on firecrackers while others seem to get taken away by the beautiful lights. All Indians have their own reason to fall in love with this festival of lights and the most common reason is “the love for dressing up for the day”.

This time, as a parent, I am super excited to dress my baby. I am on the hunt for fashionable outfits for my child. With so many options in hand, it is really hard to pick the perfect outfit. I browsed the whole internet and came on to a conclusion that nothing is better than a classic Indian ethnic wear. If you are also confused and trying to find a perfect outfit, here’s a list of trending styles to dress up your little one this Diwali.

1. A traditional touch: A bright colored lehenga and a light colored choli is all that your princess need to dazzle in style. Bright colors, floral prints and mirror work are super trendy. You can pair them with golden bangles and cute hair accessories. For a boy, you can have a bright colored kurta and contrasting pyjamas or dhoti to get that traditional look. Team them up with a bandi or a nehru jacket and your champ is all set for the day.

2. A pinch of perfection: When your baby boy is all set to look stunning, why not add a pinch of perfection to the look? To get an ideal ethnic look, go for jodhpuris that are quite in trend for boys. Something light colored will make your boy look handsome. A nice pair of loafers or juttis will also give a complete festive look. For girls, its juttis, juttis and all juttis. Go for some bright and flashy juttis or jodhpuris to make their attire complete.

3. Something Elegant: If your little one is not convinced with a dhoti kurta, you can get him something more elegant like trousers and shirt. For girls, a beautiful kurta salwar spells elegance. You can also get them blingy anarkalis and net dupattas to go with the trend. You can definitely play with colors and add some pastel shades to create a beautiful ethnic look.

4. Some trendy Partywears: If your munchkin is more of a party animal then trust me you are born lucky. There’s a whole bunch of classy western outfits to choose from. Shimmery gowns with floral prints and pastel shades are super comfortable. Team them with cute ballet flats and hair accessories. For your boy, an elegant jacket with classy denims or trousers or a three piece suit with a tie or a bow will make him a rockstar. You can pair them with formal shoes to complete the look.
